I was trying to buy a plush on NICI, and maybe I just caught the site at a bad time, but the checkout felt annoying. My payment failed the first time without really telling me why, and then the page just kept loading for ages, so I wasn’t sure if it was my card, my browser, or the site itself.

The shipping cost also didn’t show up until quite late in the process, which threw me off a bit. I did manage to place the order after trying again, so maybe it wasn’t a huge deal, but I came close to closing the tab and giving up

It’s a really cute plush and looks nice in person. I did notice the seams feel a little weak, but it’s not a huge deal. I just expected it to feel a bit sturdier for the price

They do have some cute stuff on the site, but something about it just feels a little messy and outdated to me. I was expecting the product pages to look a bit nicer and easier to browse. It’s not terrible or anything, just not really the kind of design that pulls me in

Delivery was fine, though, and the plush itself was nice enough — just not something I’d choose again as a present

The box arrived smashed and sorta poorly taped up. Since it was meant to be a gift, it ended up looking kind of cheap when it got here. I was really disappointed.

I ordered a small plush from NICI it’s really lovely. It’s super soft, the kind of plush you keep petting without even realizing it, and my kid has been carrying it around everywhere. So far it still looks great, even after a few days of being dragged from room to room.
The only reason I’d knock off a star is the price, which felt a bit higher than I expected. The quality is definitely there, but the little sticker shock felt like something preventable if there had been a better deal or clearer value upfront.

Overall, it was okay, just not especially fast or super smooth. I’d give it 3 stars.

I sent my order back and then ended up waiting what felt like weeks for the refund to come through. I had to message them a couple of times, and the replies were kind of vague and didn’t really help much. It was extra frustrating because shipping it back already cost me a decent amount. If returns are going to be this much of a hassle, I probably wouldn’t order from them again.

There really wasn’t much to choose from, which was a little disappointing. I mean, it’s not the end of the world, but I was hoping for a better selection.

My issue got sorted in the end, but it didn’t leave me feeling confident. When customer service drags like that, it kind of makes you lose trust in the whole ordering process. Average experience for me.
